This is a nationally-known, non-profit rehabilitation and resource center for people with physical disabilities, brain injuries, speech or vision impairments, or hearing loss.  Its wide-ranging programming includes physical rehabilitation, mental health and family support services, vocational training, community living skills and assistive technology, as well as camping and recreational programs. These services are provided at 18 locations throughout Minnesota.

The DHS is Minnesota’s largest government agency.  Its mission is to help people live as independently as possible by providing a wealth of information and a variety of programs and services.  The website provides a broad range of content, including information about DHS initiatives, program eligibility, application forms, business applications, and reference material.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services recently launched this new, free statewide information, referral, and assistance service for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses and their families.
