There are a variety of services that "wrap-around" you -- the concerned family member or caregiver -- addressing your individual needs and preferences.  We’ve listed some of the better online resources and services available.

What do caregiver services cost?  Many of the online content and support group services are free.  The more hands-on services are offered through various non-profit and professional organizations for a fee.   They may be covered under Medicare, Medicaid, and other special programs such as Minnesota's Medical Assistant Elderly Waiver (part of Minnesota’s Medicaid program) and Alternative Care Programs.  For more information on Medicare and Medicaid benefits, see our section on Medicare/Medicaid.  We recommend calling your state’s Medicare and Medicaid office to inquire about specific coverage.
