Large capacity – For most people, MD.2 will hold three to our weeks of medications thereby reducing the need to frequently refill.

Numerous reminders – Each dose is announced by a loud, clear voice and tone (adjustable volume), a text message, and a flashing red light, allowing use by individuals with hearing and sight impairments.  Special instructions such as “take with food” can also be announced.

Automatic monitoring – If a dose is missed, family members or friends will be contacted by phone.  If medications run low, MD.2 will alert the user by phone that its time to reload.

Medication security – MD.2 can be locked ensuring medications are safely stored.

Easy – When it’s time to take the medication, a reminder will sound for the user to push the “Big Red Button”.  The MD.2 automatically dispenses the appropriate medications in a re-usable plastic cup.  That’s all. The system will automatically reset for the next dose.
